So I won’t be doing much posting until way later or tomorrow. But for now, the Hoffa crew is psyched to be getting loud.

As promised! This is from our show on Saturday. We played at ABBA Fine Art during the Wynwood art walk.
The room was huge and got some natural reverb as you can hear in the video. We just got a reverb unit for the PA system as well and were kind of worried that everything would get mucked up, but instead it sounded trippy and pretty damned good. Bonus!
We love Warpaint and played this song once before.

Anyone who’s into cool novels about post-war Europe ought to check out Carola Perla’s book, Gibbin House. She’s one of the artists at Atelier 1022 where Jose and I will be performing during the art walk next month.

Took this tonight at Atelier 1022 during the art walk in Wynwood. That’s Carola Perla, writing in the little notebook. She was in the process of selling some pictures to the folks to the right of her.
On the left is part of a drawing that Ellie Perla was working on live for people to see the process. So much quality stuff there, I’m proud to be able to perform there.

Went to Atelier 1022 today for Art Walk, got to see everyone. It was a lot of fun. Saw some new drawings by Ellie - it feels like every time I go in there, I see something new that totally blows my mind. Everything she does is wonderful.
Natasha came by and met everyone. She was completely inspired by all the great stuff in there and said that she could see now why I keep talking them up. They’re really that good!
We talked about my performance there next month with Jose. I’m getting excited about it, and after this next practice we’re going to start rehearsing for that gig specifically. Still not sure if I’m gonna introduce any of my own, more chill songs for that show or do all new stuff.
